Each of these books gathers a complete series of plates in one downloadable file: an illustrated classic, a botanical florilegium, a set of engravings that once belonged to a single volume. You get the whole sequence rather than a single image, at print resolution, for roughly the price of one framed poster.
They serve two purposes. Read them on screen, the way you would a facsimile — or pull out three or four plates, print them, and hang them as a series. A set of plates from the same book shares a palette and a line weight, which is exactly what makes a gallery wall look deliberate rather than assembled.
