Babar's ABC – Vintage French Alphabet Picture Book, Printable PDF

A vintage French alphabet book starring Babar the elephant, ready to print at home.

Each page is dedicated to one letter of the alphabet and shows a lively illustrated scene full of people, animals and objects whose names all start with that letter. On the C page, for example, you’ll spot a cirque (circus), a citrouille (pumpkin), a cintre (coat hanger) and much more. The game: find and name every word hidden in the picture!

Why kids love it

• A guessing game: children look closely at each scene and try to name everything that starts with the letter.
• Learn the alphabet: one letter per page, with its sound brought to life by the pictures.
• Build French vocabulary: ideal for French-speaking children and for young learners of French as a foreign language.
• A classic of children’s literature: the charm of Babar’s world, from the golden age of French picture books.
